Astrato Analytics today announced it has earned the Google Cloud Ready — BigQuery designation and is now available on Google Cloud Marketplace. The designation follows a technical review by Google Cloud's engineering team, validating that Astrato meets enterprise-grade standards for performance, security, and governance on BigQuery.
A modern BI layer for companies modernizing on BigQuery

Organizations moving to BigQuery are often modernizing their entire analytics infrastructure – retiring legacy BI tools that were built to extract and copy data rather than work with the warehouse directly.
Astrato was designed for this transition. It connects to BigQuery natively, with no data extracts and no copies, so customer data never leaves the secured GCP environment. The result is a single analytics layer that preserves the governance, security, and performance characteristics teams have already built into BigQuery.
"We moved to BigQuery to modernize our data infrastructure. We needed a powerful analytics layer that would be business-friendly but also future-proof. Astrato gave us everything we wanted — an intuitive UI that enables self-service across the organization, native writeback and a baked-in semantic layer for governed AI use cases." — Rod Menchaca Betancur, Global Director of Digital Skin at ISDIN
Astrato extends what's possible on BigQuery with capabilities few platforms offer in combination: writeback to BigQuery from within dashboards, AI-assisted data exploration, a native semantic layer that business users can configure without developer support — and white-labeled embedded analytics for customer-facing products.
That last capability is how Enolytics, a wine industry data analytics company, built its entire platform on BigQuery and Astrato.
"We needed a BigQuery-native analytics platform that could power a customer-facing product, not just internal dashboards. Our customers need pixel-perfect reporting they can act on immediately. Astrato gave us a production-grade embedded analytics layer that connects directly to BigQuery, so we can deliver real-time insights to any number of customers without ever moving data out of the warehouse." — Cathy Huyghe, Co-Founder & CEO, Enolytics
From internal self-service to customer-facing products — that range is exactly why the Cloud Ready designation matters.
"Organizations have modernized their data infrastructure on BigQuery. Now they need an analytics layer that keeps pace. We already have joint customers using BigQuery and Astrato together to build AI-powered data apps, writeback-enabled BI workflows, and embedded analytics for their own customers — and the Cloud Ready designation means we can now bring these capabilities to every BigQuery customer in the ecosystem." — Martin Mahler, CEO, Astrato Analytics
