Do we need a data warehouse to get analytics out of PostgreSQL?

No. Astrato queries your PostgreSQL database live – no warehouse to stand up, no ETL, no second store to keep in sync. Dashboards and data apps run on the database that already powers your product, on the current data, so there's nothing between the question and the answer.

Won't running BI on our production PostgreSQL slow the app down?

You stay in control of that. Can writeback overwrite our production data?

Inputs are validated before they land, unauthorised users never see the control, every change is logged with user, timestamp and payload, and you can require an approval before a write commits.
